Christmas 2012 – Quick Christmas Ghirardelli Chocolate Gifts

Looking for a way to quickly make beautiful and Quick Christmas Gifts – I make these for my co-workers… I start with a bag of Ghirardelli Sea Salt Selection Chocolate Squares and then I simply create a joyous pleasure… when the chocolate is all consumed, the receiver of this gift has a neat snack clip (the clothes pin)… how fun is this?

Now YOU make these…

Makes 10

1. Cut

Using two sheets of Designer Paper – Cut 30 – 5″ x 2″ strips of Designer Paper.

Using one sheet of Designer Paper – Cut 10 – 1/2″ x 3″ strips of Designer Paper.

Using wide ribbon of your choice – Cut 10 – 14″ strips of Ribbon

2. Adhere

Take Ghirardelli Chocolates and wrap them using the 5″ x 2″ strips of Designer Paper.

Take 10 clothes pins and adhere the 1/2″ x 3″ strip of Designer Paper to the front of the clothes pin.

Stack and tie 3 Ghirardelli Chocolates together .. make a bow… do this until the 30 wrapped Ghirardelli Chocolates are all bundled.

3. Stamp or Print Image 10 times and cut out.  I like using the Whisper White Shimmer Paper.

4. Glitter the stamped image using the Glue Pad and Stampin’ Up!’s Dazzling Diamond’s Stampin’ Glitter.

5. Adhere the clothes pin to the bow on the wrapped Ghirardelli Chocolates  {Step it up:  You can spray the clothes pin with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz}

6. Adhere the stamped and glitter image to the designer paper side of clothes pin.

7.Embellish the stamped image.

8. Cut 10 – Top Notes and embellish

9. Adhere the bundled chocolates to the Top Notes.

This took a total of 30 minutes to do :)  Nice, classy, easy and quick!
